12th CREAN PhD Symposium

The 12th CREAN PhD Symposium, co-organised with the Faculty of Law, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, will take place on 5–6 November 2026 in Osijek, Croatia. Hosted for the first time in this region, the symposium offers a valuable opportunity for scholarly exchange in a vibrant and welcoming academic environment.

The symposium will explore the theme “Exploring Emerging Horizons in Children’s Rights Research Across Disciplines and Contexts,” inviting reflection on evolving conceptual, thematic, and methodological directions in children’s rights research. It will bring together PhD researchers and senior scholars from law, social sciences, humanities, and related disciplines to exchange ideas, discuss innovative research, and foster interdisciplinary dialogue.

Doctoral researchers working on children’s rights are warmly invited to submit abstracts by 1 July 2026. Please see the document below for more information:
