Children's Rights Moot Court
The Children’s Rights Moot Court is a bi‑annual international competition organised by a CREAN member institution Leiden University’s Department of Child Law in partnership with Baker McKenzie and with support from CREAN.
Law students from around the world prepare written legal submissions and present oral arguments on a fictitious children’s rights case before an expert international bench. The Moot Court offers a unique opportunity to engage with real-world children’s rights issues, strengthen legal reasoning and advocacy skills, and gain insight into international children’s rights law. It is open to advanced bachelor’s and master’s law students and provides a valuable space for teamwork, intercultural exchange, and professional growth.
