10th PhD Symposium

Join us for the 10th Edition of the CREAN PhD Symposium, in partnership with Stockholm University, themed "Looking back and moving forward - challenges and opportunities for children’s rights research," on June 13 & 14. This year, as we reflect on a decade of progress in children's rights amid a complex landscape of both achievements and challenges, the symposium aims to foster discussions on contemporary issues, opportunities, and innovative approaches from a comparative perspective. Our goal is to facilitate mutual learning across diverse contexts, disciplines, jurisdictions, and cultures, to further the cause of children's rights.

To mark this milestone, a special social programme will be organized, celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the PhD Symposium. This will provide a unique opportunity for attendees to network, share insights, and enjoy commemorating the achievements of the past decade in a collaborative and festive setting.

The symposium will feature an opening panel with experts Aoife Daly, Karl Hanson, Maria Roth, and Anna Nylund, who will delve into the evolving challenges and opportunities in children's rights research, setting the stage for a productive and insightful dialogue.

For details on abstract submission, the full programme, and information about the special social events, please visit the dedicated webpage.  For any inquiries, don't hesitate to contact us at creanstockholm24@juridicum.su.se.
