The papers highlight the possible positive role of religion in fostering successful child’s adoption within Romanian cultural context. The case study presented here is focused on a Romanian adoptive family and one of the adopted children, who was an adolescent of 14 years old at the assessment’s time. The assessment is done with various tools based or congruent with attachment theory. Keeping in mind the limits of the possible generalizations of results, the papers conclude by emphasizing the important role of the religious faith, for parents and the child. The religion certifies their miraculous meeting and makes the adoption as right as a natural nativity within the biological family. Specific risks of adoptions, as mentioned in literature, are over passed by the adoptive family based on the support provided by their religious belief.
