2nd Children’s Rights Research Symposium

2nd Children’s Rights Research Symposium

October 2014

University College Cork

Description:

The emphasis is on a community of researchers (senior and junior) working together to further children's rights. Some sessions are aimed at inspiring through sharing/developing research: possibilities include sharing research on one of the general principles of the CRC or opening space for deliberation on an under-developed area of children's rights/topical issue (for example, decision-making towards the post 2015 development agenda). Other sessions are aimed at supporting more junior researchers through opening spaces for skills development (presenting and chairing) and substantive reflections (from all).
