Department of Social Sciences:

The RheinMain University of Applied Sciences (Germany) is based in the Faculty of Social Work. The academic staff involved in the faculty runs children’s rights-based research projects namely in the field of child protection: child and family violence; violence against LGBTIQ children and youth; refugees; child participation.
Futhermore the faculty is specialized in training Social Workers and other professionals in the field of children´s rights.

 

Courses taught:

  • Children’s rights based prevention programme against violence against children and women in the context of domestic violence
  • Ethics in research with and for children
  • Summer School in Human Rights and Children´s Rights (2016)
